Hey all! This is another drop in the new series I'm doing, which will be a regular occurrence going forward! I love making time-lapse films, it's my passion, my purpose and what I love doing. But I tend to put them out once a year, a massive, huge production of either the Monsoon or Tornado Chasing. I collect two years worth of footage for each and then create a film. But there are lots of clips that don't make it, or days that are so good, they deserve their own short video.
This is May 16th, 2021...a legendary day, from start to finish. What you'll be watching (after the opening scene of clouds erupting on the horizon) is a single, solitary supercell that forms, drops a tornado and then goes on to be one of the best structure shows I've ever seen. And this is all ONE storm, all the way from start to nighttime beast. It forms near Sudan, Texas and by the end we're on the west side of Lubbock, watching it in the distance.
