GAME ENGINES BEYOND GAMES was a two-day a symposium that brought together artists, curators and scholars to explore the expanded concept of game engines.

Maxwell Neely Cohen is the author of the novel Echo of the Boom and Editor-At-Large for The Believer. He has funded, produced, and created games, gamejams, hackathons, and other game-related events for over a decade. His experiments with literature and technology have been acclaimed by The New York Times Magazine, Electric Literature, The Financial Times, and Google.
