土方巽 / 慈悲心鳥がバサバサと骨の羽を拡げてくる （アリアディスク） 1998
DJ時にダブやアンビエントものに日本のポエトリー・リーディングをMIXしたい欲求が強いのだが、いざ音源を探すとなると結構難しい。まあ自分の現代詩に対する知識不足なだけかも知れないが、そんなときに便利なのがこの作品。とにかく分裂症的に切断された意識と言葉が即興音響として溢れ出すスピード感に圧倒される。自分が少年時代過ごした東北地方の風景がまるでバロウズのいう「インターゾーン」のように立ち昇る衝撃には今も驚かされる。暗黒舞踏にはまったく疎いのだが、この作品を体験して自分のなかでは土方巽は詩人としてインストールされてしまった。録音は1976年8月、大内田圭弥監督映画”風の景色”撮影時にノンストップでテープ録音されたものだという。1986年土方が亡くなった際、その葬儀の香典返しとしてこのレコードが配られたというエピソードもなんとなくうなずける。1998年のCD化ではLP未収録音源もプラスされた。
