Took advantage of the crazy winds outside to see how fast we can make the Mavic Pro go. Winds were 11 mph with gusts of 26 mph. Did I mention it's 17 degrees outside. I had the Mavic at around 260 so I could keep line of sight...since nothing tall around us here. I was able to do about 45 mph on the way out with a tailwind...and on the way back was only getting 15 mph. I was in sports mode the whole time and getting wind and gimbal warnings (probably why horizon looks crooked).
I'm planning on doing a longer distance test sometime when it's nicer weather. I have a friend who lives in farm country and we can see just how far we can take her then.
