After four months in our Physical and Medical Rehabilitation Unit following a serious car accident, Maverick is heading home! 🎉
During his time at Bethany, Maverick made incredible progress and became one of the youngest patients in Oklahoma to receive a phrenic nerve pacer, which helps support his breathing. The procedure was made possible through close coordination between the care teams at Bethany + OU Children's. 💚
Along the way, his parents trained alongside our care team so they feel confident supporting him as he continues his journey at home. Congratulations, Maverick, we are cheering you on!
