Maty Owl returns to Anjunadeep Explorations with the ‘Violeta EP’.

The Brazilian multi-instrumentalist, DJ, producer and visual artist delivers his fifth project on the imprint, continuing a run of incredibly consistent output that has positioned him as a standout Explorations label artist. The new EP not long follows the release of Maty’s ‘Green & Blue EP’, which showcased both his evolving sound and wider creative vision. Maty produced and animated a music video for the title track, created a visualiser for ‘Falling Leaves’, delivered a mini documentary following his journey on 2025’s Anjunadeep UK club tour, and recorded a highly anticipated Anjunakitchen set.

2026 is set to be Maty’s biggest year to date with bookings at numerous worldwide Anjunadeep shows confirmed already. Maty will appear across all four stops of the label’s debut Latin America tour, stopping off in Sao Paulo, Mendoza, Lima and Santiago, alongside major moments including his return to Explorations Festival in Albania, and playing London’s Open Air stage at the Old Royal Naval College. Supported by an increasingly wide array of DJs such as John Digweed, Joris Voorn, Eelke Kleijn and Marsh, and with press coverage from Mixmag Brasil and Alataj, Maty Owl continues his rapid ascent through the Anjunadeep ecosystem.
