Matthes Crest is an imposing ridge located in the heart of the Cathedrals, in the Tuolumne Meandows area of Yosemite National Park in California. I free solo'd up the south side and ridge traversed to the south summit, then dropped west off the ridge to safety. Before, I summitted Cathedral Peak and after did Echo Ridge summit before dropping down to Budd Lake and back to the car and highway.
