I wrote this song for a girl I loved but she loved someone else. In the process of her loving that someone, she lost herself; and, I lost myself trying my best to help her find herself (even though she insisted for me not to, but I still did because I'm very stubborn). I know that many of you have also been through this kind of situation (either her situation or mine) at some point in your lives and some of you are still going through it at the moment. I know it sucks, but I promise you, it gets better. I really hope that this song and video can somehow help you know your worth. Also, there's nothing wrong with falling in love, just don't forget to take care of yourself because you're also worth it, enough, and deserving of unconditional love. You are Katie, I am Katie, everyone is Katie.
