We kicked off MATTA Fair 2026 yesterday with our press conference, officiated by Captain Nasaruddin A. Bakar, President and Group Chief Executive Officer of Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), alongside Bryan Foong, Chief Executive Officer of Airlines Business (MAG) and Dersenish Aresandiran, Chief Commercial Officer of Airlines Business (MAG).
The session outlined MAG’s continued momentum, with a focus on network expansion, fleet modernisation, and strengthening connectivity across key markets, all aimed at elevating the end-to-end travel experience.
✈️ And of course, we will now be flying to:
• Shenzhen: Daily flights starting from 1 July 2026
• Changsha: Daily flights starting from 8 July 2026
• Fukuoka: 5x weekly flights starting from 2 September 2026
These latest additions reflect MAG’s strategic direction as it continues to strengthen Kuala Lumpur’s position as a preferred gateway to Asia and beyond, while progressing towards its aspiration of positioning Malaysia Airlines among the Top 10 global airlines by 2030.
