Every April 24, the World Peoples' Assembly holds celebrations in honor of Elbe Day which honors those Russian and American troops who fought to stop fascism from shaping the new world order, and who met together at the Elbe River in Germany in 1945.

RTF director Matthew Ehret was invited to deliver remarks in honor of this celebration at this year's Moscow conference while also paying homage to the late Dr. Edward Lozansky (president of the American University in Moscow)
