Math’s Heart: The Cardioid

In this short video, we show how the famous cardioid curve arises as the envelope of a collection of lines in a circle each connecting point n with 2n mod 150 in a set of 150 equally spaced points around the circle. The cardioid can also be generated with the parametric equations at the end.
