Dear World, made an experiment in my 3D program using a so-called "Reaction-Diffusion" system.
In the Fifties, Alain Turing thought about biological pattern formation and found out that a reaction between two components, based on simple laws, can produce amazingly complicated patterns.
We find it everywhere in nature. Looks like the structure of a brain or the surface of a leaf... I always saw it, but did not realize it might not even be due to complicated genetic encoding of information but could also be due to the random distribution of a chemical reaction.
Is this the reason we all have different fingerprints?
