Marathon Plus™ is an enhanced version of Mate's Marathon® tooling for Murata Wiedemann punch presses that has all of Marathon's original benefits plus external length adjustment. Instead of taking the tooling apart to change the punch length, the operator simply needs to click and turn the outside barrel of the punch holder to adjust the length. The external length adjustment feature provides very precise tool length setting in 0.005" (0.127 mm) increments. In addition, this design eliminates the need for shims or adjusting tools, further minimizing punch press downtime.
