Matamba forms part of an area commonly known as the Waterberg Biosphere which is situated in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. Matamba is located on the Waterberg Plateau stretching roughly north of Vaalwater to approximately 50km’s from Lephalale.
Taking only one party of up to 12 people at a time, Matamba Lodge provides a 5-star exclusive experience in a private game reserve. With a fully equipped kitchen and 5 luxury chalets it’s ideally suited to groups wanting an upmarket bushveld escape. With an abundance of wildlife, 60km of sandy tracks and no dangerous game, it’s ideal for hiking or cycling.
I don't usually review lodges but Matamba is one of my favourite game reserves in Southern Africa so I thought I'd give you a tour of their new lodge as well.
