You had me at Skeletor! By the Power of Grayskull! There's a new He-Man on the horizon and dare we say... it's about time!
10-year-old Prince Adam (Nicholas Galitzine) crashes to Earth and is separated from his magical Sword of Power — the only link to his home on Eternia. After being separated for 15 years, he tracks it down... and is whisked away back to Eternia where he discovers his home shattered under the fiendish, evil rule of Skeletor (Jared Leto). To save his family and his world, Adam must join forces with his closest allies, Teela (Camila Mendes) and Duncan/Man-At-Arms (Idris Elba), and embrace his true destiny as He-Man — the most powerful man in the universe.

Wilson as Trap Jaw; Kojo Attah as Tri-Klops; Hafthor Bjornsson as Goat Man; Camila Mendes as Teela; Morena Baccarin as The Sorceress; James Purefoy as King Randor; Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn; Charlotte Riley as Queen Marlena; Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson as Malcolm/Fisto; Idris Elba as Duncan/Man-at-Arms; Sasheer Zamata as Suzie, John Xue Zhang as Ram-Man; Kristen Wiig as Roboto; and Christian Vunipola as Hussein.
LAIKA CEO Travis Knight directs the movie from Mattel Films, Amazon MGM Studios, and Escape Artists, with a screenplay by Chris Butler, who wrote and directed both ParaNorman and Missing Link for LAIKA.
Mattel Films’ Robbie Brenner, and Escape Artists’ Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, and Steve Tisch produce. Tim Burke serves as VFX supervisor; Rich Yeomans serves as VFX producer. VFX studios involved include Cinesite, Clear Angle Studios, DNEG, ILM, Proof, Inc., and Rodeo FX.
Masters of the Universe releases exclusively in theaters on June 5, 2026.
