Here's a video where I explain the different types of moving hold and go through the process of animating them in Maya using Tweenmachine on AnimBot in Maya 2024.

While this tutorial was made using Maya and AnimBot, there are plenty of free tools out there which do the same thing, and hopefully they are all available for Blender too!
