Every step you need to take to properly waterproof a walk in shower before installing any tile. This is actually the most important part of remodeling or installing a shower or bathtub in a bathroom, the waterproofing is was keeps the water and steam from damaging your house. In this video we will be installing a Schluter shower system using Kerdi board, Kerdi Band and Schluter's AllSet thinset. We will be installing a shower bench, linear drain, Schluter pre-fabricated shower curb and wall niche as well as dual shower heads!
Big thanks to Schluter Systems for supplying the Schluter product used in this bathroom build. This is the third bathroom I have personally used Schluter products on and I cannot recommend them enough, excellent product that is relatively easy to use and the best support in the tile business.
