Week 8 of the #MasterSystemChallenge is to beat the first boss in the classic game R-Type and get as high a score as possible. I've not played this one a lot on the SMS because I didn't have this back in the day, but I did play a fair bit of the arcade game, thankfully, it looks like the SMS got an absolute superb port! This is a quick go, but plan on putting a bit of time into this one as we approach the weekend.
