ITER's Poloidal Field Coil 4 is one of the largest superconducting magnets to be completed.
Made in Europe by Fusion for Energy (F4E) and at least 10 companies, this massive magnet measures 24 m in diameter and weighs approximately 349 tonnes.
The magnet successfully passed all tests and was handed over to ITER Organization in August.
ITER, the biggest fusion device, will rely on six PF coils in total that will control the shape and stability of its plasma.
