Always a magnificent sight as the massed pipes & drums march around the Games field during the 2024 Braemar Gathering. This was on Saturday 7th September 2024, with the bands playing 10th Battalion HLI Crossing the Rhine and Cock o' the North. Special guests in 2024 were the Atholl Highlanders, who can been following the bands.
The pipe bands were led by leading Drum Major Roland Stuart, and this was part of their noon display around the Highland Games field. The bands taking part were Ballater & District Pipe Band, Huntly & District Pipe Band, Lonach Pipe Band, Kintore Pipe Band, Blairgowrie, Rattray & District Pipe Band, Gordonstoun Pipe Band, Dunnottar Pipes and Drums, Granite City Pipes and Drums, Perth & District Pipe Band and special guests, the Atholl Highlanders Pipe Band.
