In 9 AD, three legions, 17th, 18th, and 19th, were led into the Teutoburg Forest in Germany. Their leader, Varus, thought the Germanic tribes were not united, but he was wrong. He was betrayed and led his army into very unfavourable ground and was attacked by at least seven tribes. The three legions were all but wiped out and stopped any further expansion into Germnia. We play this scenario to see if we can do any better. Watch and see.
