Louis "Lou" Leo Holtz, the legendary college football coach who led the University of Notre Dame to the 1988 National Championship, passed away at the age of 89, on March 4.
A funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 16. Members of the campus community and the public are invited to watch the livestream.

Following the Mass of Christian Burial, the public is welcome to honor Coach Holtz by assembling on both sides of Notre Dame Avenue as his family leads the funeral procession from Notre Dame Circle to the main entrance of the Cedar Grove Cemetery. At the request of the Holtz family, graveside services are private.
