This is a really weird glitch I bumped into, which happened right after I convinced Saren to shoot himself in the head. After the cutscene with him was over, and it cut back to Commander Sheppard, I noticed something - my second party member (Kaidan) wasn't there anymore!
Originally, my entire party consisted of Kaidan and Tali, but when we left the part where you fight the Geth out in space, and entered the Council Chambers, he had disappeared completely from the game.
The really weird part was how the game compensated for it. When it came time to decide the fate of the council, Tali ended up having both sides of the conversation, almost like she had split personality syndrome or something.
Weird.
