Ashley's character never struck me as being anything special in Mass Effect One, but I never found her especially annoying either. She was always just "there".
But my god, she comes across as a completely unreasonable bitch here. No matter what you say, she always comes back with "b-b-but...you wurk fer cerberus". You'd think that after everything her and Shepard went through, she might be a little more willing to take him at his word. She didn't have any trouble disobeying the Alliance when they stole the Normandy, but NOW she's facing some big moral dilemma?
It's amazing how so many people can ignore the greater threat of the Reapers just because of some petty complaint they might have. Next thing you know, Tali won't be able to help out in Mass Effect 3 because she doesn't like the color they painted the Normandy.
