Mary Timony (Helium, Autoclave, Wild Flag, Ex Hex) performs at Rubber Gloves in Denton, Texas … June 25, 2002. Due to lighting, most of the show is filmed with nightshot (apologies in advance), but it was still a great, engaging set. Next month, Ex Hex will be playing their first show in awhile at the Black Cat in Washington, D.C. on Dec. 30, and opening is my favorite new band of 2017, Snail Mail. They are led by the young but very talented Lindsey Jordan … who also happened to have Timony as one of her guitar teachers. Should be an awesome show!
