Hey dudes, dudettes and dudles!

Let me quickly make this clear in case anyone is unsure: No, this is NOT a pride MEP, I just happen to be posting this sign-up in June x’D

Theme: Lovers fight against religious extremists trying to keep them apart.

This is in no way shape or form supposed to be anti-religion. The song is blasphemous, and religion is a theme in this MEP. However, religion does not have to be shown in a negative light. If any participants do wish to go all out with an anti-religious message, however, this is allowed. A warning will be placed at the beginning of the final project so as not to trigger any religious trauma and so forth, just in case.

Here are a few ideas for anyone who wants to participate, but is unsure what to do:

Scenario A: Character A is a religious figure (priest, nun, etc.) and despite being sworn to celibacy and a life of solitude, falls in love with character B
Scenario B: Character A falls in love with a demon/unholy creature of some sort
Scenario C: Character A and B are gay (unfortunately a very realistic scenario in terms of religion)
Scenario D: Character A and B belong in different religions
Scenario E: Character A and B have families and are in the same religious community, but have an affair
Scenario F: Human sacrifice by religious cult

Keep in mind these are merely suggestions for those who need it. You are more than welcome to think of something of your own 🥰

Also, despite the singer being male, all female characters are allowed as well. I see the singer as more of a narrator :D

Rules
- Both CGI and traditional (non)Disney animation are allowed, but not mixed

- All genders and sexualities are allowed

- HD footage (that means it's not enough to just render your part in HD, if the original movie looks like crap your part is not considered HD) and full-screen please (that means 16:9)

- Humans, anthros, aliens, etc. are all allowed

- All ages are allowed, but no age gaps

- Character repetitions are ok, but not couples

- Religion HAS to be included in your video one way or another

- Please give me your tumblr, discord, skype, Instagram or anywhere I can PM (not Facebook though) you since YouTube’s notification system is broken AF

- You are expected to check the sign-up video for when the deadline is added. I won’t be sending out messages or reminders, you’re expected to keep up to date on it, it’s not that hard 😉

- You are allowed to claim more than one part if you wish, either to lenghten your story or to make two different stories in different parts

- Colorings, textures and typography are allowed

- Please stick to a realistic editing style, meaning no MMV, candy style or stylized transitions

- DO NOT ADD YOUR WATERMARK! I will add watermarks when I upload the finished MEP

- Write “Aira almost did a purely lesbian version because of course she did” somewhere in your comment if you have read all the rules 😉
