Produced in partnership between International Contemporary Ensemble and the Centre for Research in New Music (CeReNeM), University of Huddersfield, for the 2020–21 CeReNeM ‘Virtual’ Ensemble in Residence programme and the Re.Co.Lab (Remote Composers Laboratory) project of International Contemporary Ensemble
The work was created through an online collaboration and was conceived for online video distribution, using sound combinations that lend themselves to audio-video recording, aiming to take advantage of the delicate intimacy enabled through extreme close-miking techniques. The work was premiered by Ross Karre on 27th October 2021, at Target Margin Theatre, Brooklyn, New York.
