"There was an idea...."

This is a video that I've been working on for 4 months now, and I can proudly say that I am extremely happy with the end product.
This video is dedicated to my lovely friends Jillian, Rebecca, and Sam. They are absolute Marvel stans like myself and when we all heard of Stan Lee's passing we mourned together and I promised them I would get this video done last weekend, but with Thanksgiving it just was not possible.
Words can't even begin to express my gratitude and love for Stan Lee. My friends Rebecca, Sam, and I both discovered Marvel together in about 2011. I think part of it was fueled by needing a replacement for Harry Potter and the hype surrounding the first Captain America movie. I remember going to so many Marvel movies with them, including some premiers with the promise of not seeing it without one another and if we were too we would still go with the one who hasn't seen it. Watching Infinity War together, all of us, is a tragic memory I will never forget because it's also a happy one. We wore our Marvel shirts in and sat next to each other and then promptly cried through it all starting when Loki died. Stan Lee is a man all of us appreciate that we've even read some of his comics. I remember reading the Civil War comics (both endings) before the movie came out and being so disappointed when I saw it. I remember being firmly Team Cap... and then wanting to murder him during the movie. I remember filling the empty void the MCU left behind in between movies by having marathons with my friends, watching all the X-Men movies, all the various Spider-mans, laughing our whole way through Deadpool... and being extremely embarrassed during it because we had to see it with our parents.
The bottom line is... thank you Stan. You brought us a universe none of us could ever dream of nor could we live without. Your wit, wisdom, creativity, stories, and all around goodness will last for generations and you are a man that the world will NEVER ever forget.
