Overview
Marvel Rivals, developed by NetEase Games in collaboration with Marvel Games, launched on December 6, 2024, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, with later support for PlayStation 4. The game is a 6v6 third-person hero shooter that allows players to assemble teams of Marvel characters, combining powers to create unique Team-Up skills and strategies across destructible, ever-changing battlefields


Story and Setting
The game’s narrative centers on the Timestream Entanglement, a catastrophic event caused by a clash between two versions of Doctor Doom—one from the present and one from 2099. Their conflict merges timelines and realities, creating unstable worlds where heroes and villains from across the multiverse are forced to interact and fight. Cosmic overseer Galacta, daughter of Galactus, attempts to preserve the timelines, while the looming threat of Knull, the God of the Symbiotes, adds further danger
