Marvel Legends OUTBACK PSYLOCKE (Box BAF Wave) Review
During the X-Men’s late-1980s "Outback Era," Betsy Braddock was purely a telepath who lacked the physical combat skills of her powerhouse teammates. Feeling like a liability if an enemy ever bypassed her mental powers, she gained a massive upgrade when Wolverine commissioned a custom, lightweight suit of purple bionic body armor for her from contacts in Madripoor. Debuting in The Uncanny X-Men #232, this iconic high-tech armor gave her immense physical durability and a face-shielding hood, allowing her to survive front-line battles. This striking look remained her signature aesthetic until she later entered the mystical Siege Perilous and was transformed into a ninja assassin, rendering the extra protection obsolete.
