Avengers Doomsday is setting the stage from the Multiverse showdown of a century in Avengers Secret Wars. In that comic run we see Doctor Doom forming Battleworld pitting the Marvel heros like Spider-Man, Captain America, Thor and many more against eachother.

One of the key elements that form battle world is Incursions and while they have appeared in several MCU projects from Spider-Man No Way Home to Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness, they still don't make too much sense.
