1997 commercial for Marshall's (a branch of TJ Maxx) features their Marsha cartoon character explaining that whenever she gets down, she shops (at Marshall's). That's pretty blatant!

I wonder if the great rise in anti-depressants since the 90's has led to a decrease in shopping?
