I compare the two principal Marshall JCM800 series: The Master Volume Series (2204, 2204, 4010 etc) and the Split Channel series (2205, 2210, 4210 etc).

I'm playing a 1983 Marshall JCM800 2204/4010 (Master Volume) and a 1988 Marshall JCM800 2205 (Split Channel) through a 1972 Marshall 1960B cab (T1221 Pulsonic Celestion Greenbacks) using a 1973 Gibson Les Paul Custom. And we go through the schematics of these two amps at the end.
