Developed in collaboration with Billie Joe Armstrong, the 1959BJA is based on Marshall’s legendary handwired 1959HW platform. It has been refined with a custom “Dookie Mod”, inspired by the guitar tone Armstrong developed with producer Rob Cavallo during Green Day’s breakthrough era.
The 1959BJA is a single-channel, 100-watt amplifier powered by three ECC83 preamp tubes and four EL34 power tubes. Measuring 741 × 294 × 210 mm (W × H × D), or 29.2 × 11.6 × 8.3 inches, it features the classic dimensions of a full-size Marshall head.
