From this video's upload date, you might be assuming that this is an April Fool's joke. Well, it's not. Really. These are actually models I made and animated in 2001. I was 12 years old at the time. It was for a week long summer class at a local community college. I had never taken a summer class before. We were forced to use Macs with one-button mouses. I had never used a Mac before. The modeling program was one I'd never heard of prior and haven't heard of since. I had never modeled before. The only way we could save and bring our work home was on Mac-formatted zip disks. I had never even heard of a zip disk before. It took about 14 years before I was finally able to get both my own OS X machine and a working zip drive in order to retrieve the zip disk's contents. Again, none of this is a joke.
And because I'd long been yearning for a way to one day show off these models ever since I created them, yes, this video really did take 16 years to make.
