Bloomberg Television | Markets Uncertainty: How to Trade Stocks Amid China Volatility, US Election @markets | Uploaded October 2024 | Updated October 2024, 4 days ago.
Benedicte Lowe, equity derivatives strategist at BNP Paribas, discusses market positioning amid China volatility and ahead of the presidential election. "The months leading into the US election you have an underperformance of the stock market," Lowe said on Bloomberg Television. "Some managers, they take their chips off the table, reduce their risk exposure," she added. "Once we've got the result, the market can deal with that certainty, they know who's the candidate, who's the president, and then the market tends to perform better."
