The video introduces a new market data provider integration feature for the Securities 360 solution, released in April 2026. This enhancement aims to simplify how financial institutions ingest authoritative market reference data from industry leaders like Bloomberg and the London Stock Exchange (LSG).

Key Features and Benefits

Reduced Complexity: Previously, integrating data from these providers required heavy custom coding for every project.
Flexible Integration Framework: The update introduces a user-extendable framework that utilizes reusable mapping components, eliminating the need to start from scratch.

Standardized Workflow: Data is mapped from raw source files into an intermediate standard format, which then triggers pre-built transformations to route and format the data into the Securities 360 model.

Improved Efficiency: The primary benefits are increased speed in onboarding reference data and greater trust in the information, all while requiring significantly less manual configuration.

Technical Process and Demo
The integration process involves several steps within the data integration console:

1. Configuration: Create mappings for bond or equity business entities using provided maplets.

2. Source Setup: Configure the source using a flat file connection (e.g., a Bloomberg data license file).

3. Maplet Integration: Incorporate the provided maplets, which include built-in logic for data type handling and ID generation.

4. Field Mapping: Map source fields to the standard data format, and subsequently map those fields to the target business entity, ensuring the source system and primary key are included.

5. Data Conversion Utility: For multi-dimensional fields, a pre-built Java-based utility is available to convert data into rows and columns suitable for the Securities 360 model.
