I love the combination of the rose gold trim with the beautiful textured black body—it creates such a classy look, and there’s even a bit of a steampunk vibe thanks to the crescent filling arch (at least IMO). The pen itself is surprisingly lightweight, which really caught me off guard, since the overall design feels so industrial and engineered that I expected it to be much heavier.
The nib is wonderful. I’ve been really impressed with the Conklin and Monteverde nibs I’ve tried recently—every one has been smooth with great ink flow, especially when paired with Private Reserve inks.
I’m still on the fence about the crescent filling system. It was fun to pump, but I didn’t feel like I was getting a full fill, and since you can’t see inside the barrel it’s hard to tell how much ink is actually in there - it sure is pretty though ❤︎
