To celebrate the exhibition opening of Mark Rothko: Paintings on Paper, the National Gallery of Art hosted a conversation about Mark Rothko’s life and work with three people who have contributed significantly to the public accessibility and understanding of his art: Rothko’s children, Kate Rothko Prizel and Christopher Rothko, and gallerist Arne Glimcher. Adam Greenhalgh, associate curator at the National Gallery and curator of Mark Rothko: Paintings on Paper, moderated.
