I started this project in 2018, right after finishing season 8 of GA and I honestly forgot about it, until yesterday, when I told myself that I needed to edit Slexie. I am suspicious about speaking, but I am in love with Lexie Grey, she is one of my favorite characters of all time. She is funny, sincere, has a pure heart and yes she makes mistakes like all of us, but she is the moment. This couple has a huge meaning for me, I started watching the series thanks to a video of them that I watched right here on yt. I confess that I stopped watching GA months ago because I don't like the direction that some characters are taking, it totally goes against everything that was seen in the first seasons. But I came across images everywhere on Lexie's back and I swear, I thought how cool it would be to have Mark back on the beach too. AND THEN IT HAPPENED. I have always forced myself to believe that somehow they had a happy ending, and now that has been fully confirmed. THEY ARE ENDGAME. AS IT SHOULD ALWAYS BE. Happily ever after, in their own heaven.
I was never very happy with how things ended for these two. It is that old story, some people are destined to love each other but they are at the wrong time. Lexie wanted the world, and for sure Mark would give it to her, but she needs to grow up and somehow she did it all on her own. Her death, for me, was one of the most difficult scenes I had to watch and soon after came Mark, with all his speech about loving and saying. My heart is quiet to know that they are together, forever. I will cry. Swear.
