Today we are looking at a transcription of the legendary Mark Guiliana, as well as sitting down with him for a chat.
I went back and forth FOREVER about where I should place "beat 1" for this drum transcription. The reason I picked where "beat 1" was for this notation is based on measure 17. That was really the only clear "down beat + back beat" combination I could find in the whole transcription so I picked that as a solid "beat 1" and work backward from there.
