UK Techno and House lynchpin Mark Broom returns to Rekids with the ‘Touch’ EP, landing 8th May 2026. Active since the late ‘80s and widely regarded as one of UK dance music’s most enduring figures, Broom’s catalogue spans key imprints including Warp Records, M-Plant, Hardgroove, and his own Pure Plastic and Beardman, alongside collaborations with the likes of Riva Starr, Baby Ford, and James Ruskin. Since first appearing on Rekids in 2019, he’s gone on to deliver 13 further releases, including his five-part ‘Mutated Battle Breaks’ EP series on sister label RSPX.
Following 2024’s ‘Showtime’ EP, his last House-leaning outing for Rekids, Mark Broom now drops the ‘Touch’ EP. The title track leads the charge, pairing a nostalgic vocal with a Disco-House hybrid feel and jackin’ edge, setting the tone for ‘Eyes’, where he works the filters to build suspense as a loopy sample drives those feel-good dancefloor moments.
The B-side shifts into Techno territory with ‘MXM’, a robust, driving groove marked by a machine-like swirl that steadily pushes the pressure, before closer ‘Don’t’ rounds things out with a hard-hitting drumline and tough, strobe-lit stab work.

Canadian DJ and producer Mike Shannon kicks off the year on Radio Slave’s Rekids with the ‘Off World Synthetics’ EP, landing 16th January 2026 and marking his first appearance on the label since 2023’s ‘Shadow Moves’ for sub-label RSPX. A long-standing force in Minimal and House with a discography stretching two decades, collaborations on Richie Hawtin’s Plus 8, and his own Cynosure and Haunt Recordings labels, Shannon has carved out a reputation as a respected staple in the booth and the studio.
Inspired by Alejandro Jodorowsky and Möbius’ INCAL graphic novels, Mike Shannon’s ‘Off World Synthetics’ EP opens with ‘Synthetic Salsateca’, where a static groove drives a playful, squelching synthline. ‘Back To The Hood’ follows with rattling, mechanical energy, before the flip reveals ‘Off World Sparkle’, with its wonky sequences bending around a rubbery low-end. Closing cut ‘Only Noodles’ pushes deeper into warped clicks, scratches, and subtly shifting textures, rounding off an EP that’s raw, restrained, and devastating in the right hands and on the right system.
Off World Synthetics was greatly inspired by reading the Jarodofsky and Möbius’s graphic novel INCAL. Plus the films Blade Runner and The Lost Boys. The Track Only Noodles has a little sample of Kiefer Sutherland in it. “Theyre only Noodles Michael” Blade Runner and the INCAL both mention the concept of OFF world experiences that inspired me. Berlin’s Sam Shure arrives on Rekids 3rd July 2026 with the ‘Belinda’ EP, a three-tracker including a collaboration with Swiss-French DJ and producer and I AM YOU label boss Deer Jade. Since his debut release in 2016, Shure has been backed by a long list of supporters, including Pete Tong and Âme, racking up over 66 million streams via music on the likes of HABITAT and Cercle, as well as releasing Tomorrowland’s CORE label’s best-selling track.
Sam Shure’s ‘Belinda’ EP opens with the title track, where a robust, organic rhythm playfully underpins the fidgety, bitcrushed sounds and stabs above, all while the titular vocal is evenly dotted throughout the arrangement. Shure then teams up with Innervisions, Diynamic and Kompakt artist Deer Jade for the aptly named ‘String Theory’, a strong and steady groove shot through with uplifting strings and synth work.
Closing the offering, Sam Shure returns solo with ‘No Time To Play’, squelchy sequences winding through rich melodies that steadily build the pressure for a strobe-lit dancefloor adventure.
“Belinda came to life after a sweaty Sunday night at Panorama Bar where I saw Floorplan playing for the second time. I woke up the next day, deeply inspired by them, and made Belinda within 2 hours or so. It was one of those dreamlike flow-state sessions where everything just works the first try and you don’t have to think about your creative decisions at all.
At first I felt it was too fast/heavy to be a Sam Shure track, so it sat on my hard drive for about a year. This year I am feeling a strong and clear gravity toward this more classic, raw house and Detroit approach, and Belinda suddenly made much sense for this project and found its way onto my USB stick.

Khadija returns to REK’D with the three-track sequel to her hotly tipped deep house missive ‘Dunya I’ on 1st May 2026.
‘Dunya I’, the first in a series of three, was released in January 2026 and saw the Berlin-based Rafiki collective founder win plaudits from the likes of Ploy, Jen Cardini, Tim Sweeney, Rose Kourts, and many more, as well as being tipped as an artist to watch by Beatport and DJ Mag.
The second part of Khadija’s ‘Dunya’ series is another spirit-replenishing offering. From the gospel-like male-female vocal harmonies accompanied by delectable piano keys in ‘Good’, to the soft guitar strum and passionate, heartfelt singing on ‘Heart’, before deep cut ‘Soul’ finishes on a crunchy, nostalgic vibe - ‘Dunya II’ is an EP meant to be felt.
Khadija is a Berlin-based music producer, DJ, and creative director whose soulful House sound is shaped by her Eritrean heritage. A resident at Heideglühen and founder of the Rafiki artist collective, she has appeared at venues such as Robert Johnson, Tresor, and Fusion Festival, while her collaboration with Detroit’s Stacey Hotwaxx Hale on Movement Music Records and previous REK’D EP earned playlist support from Keinemusik, who also hosted her for a guest radio show.

Radio Slave’s Rekids was founded in 2006 and has since spawned successful offshoots with the Techno-focused Rekids Special Projects in 2017 and its newest sublabel, REK’D, in 2024. Japanese Techno pioneer Ken Ishii returns to Radio Slave’s Rekids Special Projects with the ‘Autopilot’ EP, arriving 22nd August 2025. It follows his first appearance on the label in 2023, where he collaborated with Dutch duo Kamara on the ‘Powerplay’ single.
‘Autopilot’ kicks off with an unsuspecting, rolling groove while playful synths sneak up and bounce off its rhythm. The trip continues with ‘Sunset Flight’, lush chords washing over deep, subby low-end, rising high before delving back into the background while delicious percs play between its pounding kick drums. Closer ‘Grid Bounce’ then returns to mischief, machine-like sequences tumbling over an unrelenting beat, excellently building pressure for maximum dancefloor wonk.

DJ and producer Ken Ishii is one of the founding artists behind the Japanese Techno scene, he debuted on R&S Records in 1993 and quickly rose to global acclaim, releasing on labels like Harthouse, Exceptional, and now Rekids’ RSPX offshoot, while collaborating with artists like Jeff Mills, who remixed Ishii’s 2019 ‘MOBÏUS STRIP’ album on U/M/A/A.
He is also the founder of the 70 Drums label, co-brewer of KIKK IPA, worked on theme songs for the 1998 Winter Olympics and the Japanese government for the 2005 World Expo, and continues to innovate through projects ranging from video game and anime soundtracks to collaborations with Jazz artists.")

UK-born, Australia-based artist and Bush Records boss Eric Powell joins Rekids’ RSPX sublabel with ‘Bearhugg’, releasing 20th February 2026 alongside a remix from Melbourne’s Rory Marshall.
The track is dancefloor hypnotism at its best, with squelchy square bass underpinning a straight House-like groove and playful bleeps above, all while dubby moments of bliss break things up. Late Night Specialist label head and Bush Records regular Rory Marshall follows with his no-nonsense mix of ‘Bearhugg’, living up to its name with tougher drums and amped-up lasers for a rolling, strobe-lit warehouse feel.
Eric Powell started out in Manchester in the 90s, becoming a highly sought-after DJ who played at key clubs such as The Hacienda, and later held residency at Brighton’s Zap Club while earning a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix in its earliest years. Alongside Eric Gooden, he founded Blip Music before the pair launched Bush Records in 1993, a label Powell still runs today. Since relocating to Melbourne, Australia, in 1999, Eric Powell has continued to shape the scene not only through producing and performing but also via event curation, mentorship, and education.")

Berlin’s Tal Fussman returns to Rekids with the ‘Walking on Mars’ EP, releasing 7th November 2025. It follows the Survival Tactics boss’ recent album on Binh’s Time Passages, as well as his ‘Definition’ (2024) and ‘I Feel’ (2025) EPs on Rekids, with Fussman’s fresh spin on classic House and Techno winning support from the likes of Raresh, Cromby, DVS1, Saoirse, Carista, Honey Dijon, and many more.
The ‘Walking on Mars’ EP opens with ‘Crystallized’, a cavernous cut exclusive to 12”, where Tal Fussman pares back his signature percussive style in favor of a rolling groove set against a deep, atmospheric backdrop. ‘Who’s Who?’ follows, its wild sequences and skewed drumlines colliding in restless motion, before giving way to ‘Sea of Blue’, a pure rhythmic trip infused with dub textures and a hypnotic, evocative vocal sample.
The title track, ‘Walking on Mars’, drives forward on hard-hitting drums that gradually unfold into a soulful house melody, setting the stage for ‘Knowledge_Machine’, a razor-sharp electro finale of snaking synths and an apt robotic vocal. Participation boss Jon Hester is back on Radio Slave’s RSPX with the four-track ‘Here and Present’ EP on 6th March 2026. Releasing under his given name since 2009 and first appearing on Rekids’ Techno sublabel in 2018, Hester released two further EPs on RSPX and contributed to a compilation in 2023, making him a core part of the label.
On the surface, these are four tracks for the dance floor. Conceptually, this EP explores themes of being here and present within yourself, and allowing yourself to embrace the present moment, a practice that feels more important now than ever. The title tracks vocal is my own voice repeating Im here. In its intended purpose, this phrase has nothing to do with me personally; rather, it serves as a meditative mantra for the listener to repeat within themselves.
Im here. Ideally, on a dance floor in good spirits, sharing special times with loved ones around you, or otherwise under any circumstances, you are here and present and keeping on! We move through the smoke and darkness with glances to one another, into the warm togetherness of the morning fog. Jon Hester
Starting with the title track, Jon Hester’s ‘Here and Present’ EP unfolds as a finely balanced blend of techno with warmth, groove, and soul. Taut, rolling drums lay the foundation, with echoing blasts of noise dancing around rhythmic vocal snippets.

Raised in the Midwest US, and early years in Chicago and Minneapolis to his current base in Berlin, Jon Hester has built an international profile as a DJ, producer, musician, and dancer, with music released on labels including Klockworks and Tresor, and performances at institutions such as Berghain, fabric, Rex Club, Shelter, Hï Ibiza, and more.

American DJ, producer and Lone Romantic / Ellum Audio label boss Maceo Plex joins Radio Slave’s Rekids with the ‘Monster’ EP, arriving 28th August 2026.
Maceo Plex opens the ‘Monster’ EP with Flute Jam, a muscular, progressive cut with broken beats and subtle chords lighting up the airwaves. Drifting vocals and widescreen synths add great scale to this intergalactic journey while textured bass brings the weight. The hyper-real and aptly named Baby Monster then features vocals from Baby Monsta, refracted through a full-bodied Electro-Techno fusion. The chords dance over fizzing bass, all with future-facing sound design and an outer space atmosphere. Closer Cold Flow is a prickly breakbeat cut with dehumanised, trap-style vocals and precision engineering in the groove. Its a cinematic sound that takes breaks, techno and electro into new realms while retaining a soulful, melancholic core.
Active since the 90s, Maceo Plex haș long been operating in his own musical world, where Electro, Techno and House all fuse into something futuristic and fresh. Hes been shaping the underground for three decades as a DJ and producer, but also head of the influential Lone Romantic and Ellum Audio labels. Already this year he has dropped the dark 2-step sounds of his The Plan EP via the latter, which also features Baby Monsta, and continues his purple patch with a standout debut on Rekids that finds him exploring yet more new ground.")
