PACIFIC OCEAN (Jan 31, 2018) The Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Lake Champlain (CG 57) fires its forward MK 45 Mod 4 5-inch 62 caliber gun during a live fire event. Lake Champlain is currently operating in the Pacific as part of the Carl Vinson Strike Group.
