The Mortons are back on the move! Yes, it's been a long time since we had any truck camper adventures, mainly because the truck needed major repair. But this summer, we're back at it! The adventure begins here, heading to Canada! The ultimate goal is the James Bay, Trans-Labrador Hwy, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, and the Canadian Maritimes!
To get back on the road with our Bigfoot truck camper on our Ram 5500, we had to:
- Replace the turbo
- Replace the radiator
- Rebuild the front end
- Remove all decals from the camper (mortonsonthemove.com/remove-old-camper-decals/)
- Reseal all the camper windows
- Install new Dometic Fantastic Fans (mortonsonthemove.com/fantastic-fan/)
We loaded up our rescue pups, Luna and Solar, and we point the tires first to Sault Ste. Marie to tour the Soo Locks. Then, we cross into Canada to start our international journey.
