SNSM La Rochelle, a nonprofit coastguard organization, tested out the effectiveness of SplashDrone 4 in maritime search and rescue missions at sea. They flew the drone to search for people in danger and deliver self-inflating device to them. Later, they delivered a rope for boat towing with the drone.
