Maybe at this point, I should do all the battle themes. But that's not here or there. I primarily did this theme due to the fact that Dragon Quest: Your Story is now on Netflix (this isn't a promo, I just thought it felt appropriate to do). That movie's basically Dragon Quest V compressed into a 90 minute film, but Dragon Quest V as a whole had quite a few gameplay elements that would be the direct inspiration for Pokemon as you could tame monsters and add them to your party. Plus, you could also get married and your new spouse and eventual child also get added to your party. This theme itself I really liked for its energy. It really feels like it pumps you up for a fight and I wanted to make it feel more energetic.
