The Sound of Speed is a Sonic-themed event where MPC users can participate by doing any music from the Sonic the Hedgehog series from the most common like Green Hill Zone to the most obscure like SegaSonic the Hedgehog or even that one Sonic Popcorn machine thing. And since the rules say ANY Sonic song is allowed, I decided why not do a medley of em? Some of you who know about a certain high quality video game ripping channel may have been following their second King for A Day event and one of the songs to come out of this was a Rhythm Heaven styled Sonic stage medley featuring songs from Sonic 1-3 & Knuckles. I really liked how well this was structured so I wanted to do it and well, here it is for your enjoyment.

Hard to believe its been 3 weeks since Banjo & Kazooie have been out for Smash. Now with all the hype surrounding the bear and bird, I felt it was fitting that I do the Spiral Mountain theme, but Im not doing the original version; this is based off the Smash Ultimate remix done by the amazing Grant Kirkhope himself, and I thought it was fitting to cover that version because its faster paced and probably wouldnt sound as good for my style of doing Mario Paint videos. Nevertheless, this was a fun piece to put together so I hope you enjoy it.")
