All of Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong's voice clips from Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, provided by Grant Kirkhope and Chris Sutherland respectively and reused entirely from Donkey Kong 64. This was the first Mario Kart game where Diddy Kong was playable, and needless to say he quickly became my main here just like in Mario Kart Wii and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Likewise, it was the first Mario Kart where Donkey Kong didn't use his stock chimpanzee noises from the N64 era as well as the only non-arcade Mario Kart to use both DK and Diddy's voice clips from DK64 (although the beta version of Mario Kart DS also used DK's N64 voice clips before being replaced by Takashi Nagasako in the final version and all subsequent entries). Interestingly, the beta version of Double Dash itself used Diddy's voice clips from Diddy Kong Racing instead of DK64, which can easily be seen in E3 footage and early B-roll footage from before the game's release. In any case, the Kongs proved to be very popular characters in this game thanks to their Giant Banana special item and powerful stats. Credit goes to AlexToadstoolBoi for providing these voice clips (I know the MKDD voice clips have been available on the Sounds Resource for years, but these particular variants include the Award Ceremony lines as well, which weren't previously available).
