The credits theme is one of the most memorable songs from Mario Kart 64 for me, even though its probably the one I've heard the least from playing the game since its only plays at the end, so I figured I'd give it a shot.
Lots of new things in this cover. Trying out a new lead and rhythm tone. I think they sound alright, but I'm going to be experimenting with them heavily over the next few covers to try and pinpoint what I like most.
Trying new visual things as well. I figure if I just keep trying new things, eventually I will come up with some kinds of style that I like, we'll see!
This solo was hard, as you can tell I broke it up into a few parts. I wasn't done writing it when the recording day arrived, so not only did I not get to practice it, but some of it was improvised. So theres some info you didn't need know!
