Note: I used a combination of songs (which the video is synced with) one of which was identified as infringing on the rights of the artist. So, I was forced to use Youtube's "Audioswap" as a band aid solution... The song I chose fits okay, but it also ends about 100 seconds before the end of the movie...
This is a compilation video I made in March of 2005 that shows some of the most interesting / impressive things I had seen / done in kart. It's not perfect and some of the videos aren't great quality. Also, I forgot to mention that one of the clips was from Mark Jones in the credits (which he still reminds me of :).

It turns out its possible to hit this shroomless. Im racing Dan Burbanks best available ghost hit with the original shroom strat (which he says is about 0.1 slower than his very best ever) and come just about even with him. This shows that a 3-lap would optimally still shroom on the original shroom spot (which should save about a second, if done on all three laps) while taking this shroomless. Ive included input display here to show that this is RTA viable, I dont have to do anything too funky like null tires (though I thought that would be needed).
The key is to MT into the snow NOT jump (for some reason that slows you down when going uphill off road after releasing an MT) and then shift right and then left to give yourself lateral movement up the right lip. Since youre going up a slope, you can get a larger (and large enough) jump to clear the out of bounds section. I dont see this happening 3/3 RTA any time soon but it could be viable for the first lap of a 3-lap.")

Its finally been done for real. Not sure how much time this saves versus other strategies, will take some time to work on setting up and such. It seems to require two mushrooms but the second one may not be necessary with a really big bounce.")

Thanks to Peter Greenwood (micro500) over at TASVideos, I was able to sync the input from two different Weathertenko TAS movie files on my actual N64 console. This is the first time the skip has ever been achieved on console and it verifies that it is technically possible. Now someone just needs to actually do it unassisted :)")

This is a version of the TAS where I have removed all of the menus so that only races are shown. This is available to increase the entertainment value for those who found the menus to be annoying.
This is a Tool Assisted Speedrun (TAS) that aims to obtain record times on all 43 of the games courses. Some of the courses are not available for getting times without entering a push-button code, which I do at the beginning.
